2017 Investigation of Weldability of DP 1000-DP 1000 Steel Using Electron Beam Welding

In this study, weldability of DP 1000-DP 1000 steel with electron beam welding method was investigated. Consisted of microstructure after welding was investigated with microscopy and SEM. Microstructure properties was investigated such as tensile strength and microhardness. Average of fusion zone microhardness was found as 284 HV. Average tensile strength was found as 656 MPa and elongation was found 3%.

2017 The Investigation of Mechanical Properties of DP 600 Cross Sheets Joint Using Resistance Spot Welding

—In this study, mechanical properties of resistance spot welded cross shaped DP 600 galvanized automotive sheets is investigated. The specimens are joined by resistance spot welding at different weld currents and times. Welded specimens are examined for their mechanical properties. In addition, the hardness change of the heat effected zone is examined. Stressstrain graphs are drawn for different welding currents and for welding times of 10, 20, 40 cycles. As a result of this study, optimum welding parameters are determined for DP 600 steel.

2017 Trends In Steel Usage In The Automotive Industry

In this study, used materials in the automobile industry and steel trend has been discussed. In addition, contributions to the country's economy and statistical information are presented. The material and engineering requirements used in the production of motor vehicles and automobiles are very different. The most important elements of security needs, CO2 emissions and fuel savings need to be met in the best way. Other factors are comfort, manufacturability, cost, driving performance, fuel efficiency and weight. When all these factors are considered, the difficulties in automobile production and the diversity of materials attract attention. In recent years, it has been observed that the types of steel used in the production of vehicles in the world have changed, the demands of automotive manufacturers and the weight reduction efforts have accelerated. For this purpose, it might be an important objective to produce steel for the automotive industry that has come into prominence in our country with a high level of added value and income. Production of light and advanced highstrength steel for Turkish and World industries is a very critical technology.

2018 Hafif Metallerin Kullanımı ve Elektron Işın Kaynağı ile Kaynaklanabilirlikleri

Hafif metallerin kullanımı gün geçtikçe önem kazanmaktadır. Aynı zamanda en gelişmiş kaynak türlerinden electron ışın kaynağının önemi artmaktadır. Uçak, uzay ve otomotiv sektöründe kullanımı her geçen gün artan alüminyum alaşımlarının kullanımında elektron ışın kaynağı ile birleştirme zaruriyeti hız kazanmıştır. Fakat araştırmalarımıza göre alüminyum alaşımlarının elektron ışın kaynak işlemi ile ilgili çalışma çok azdır. Bu literatür çalışmasında alüminyum alaşımlarının elektron ışın kaynağı hakkında bazı konular ele alınacak ve tartışılacaktır. The use of light metals is gaining importance day by day. At the same time, the importance of the electron beam welding, one of the most advanced types of welding, is increasing. In the use of aluminum alloys, which are increasingly used in aircraft, aerospace and automotive sectors, the necessity of joining with electron beam welding has gained speed. According to our research, however, there is very little study of the electron beam welding process of aluminum alloys. In this literature work, some issues about the electron beam welding of aluminum alloys will be studied and discussed

2018 Motorlu Araç Ağırlığının Azaltılması Yaklaşımı

Birçok alanda yenilikçi ve gelişmiş ürün kullanımı her geçen gün artmaktadır. Bu ürünler araçların ağırlıklarını azaltılmak amacı ile kullanılmaktadır. Bu olgu her tür araçta daha ince ama daha mukavim ve farklı özellikleri daha iyi olan ürünler kullanımına imkân vermektedir. Araç ağırlığının azaltılmasının en önemli hedeflerinden bazıları ise yakıt tüketimi ve zararlı salınımların azaltılmasıdır. Küresel ısınma, salınım değerlerinin azaltılmasında en büyük gerekçedir. Bu amaçla başta alüminyum, magnezyum, çelik gibi metaller olmak üzere kompozit, plastik gibi gözde malzemelerin kullanımı ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu gelişime açık olan ürün portföyü hafiflik teknoloji ürünlerinin, yakıt verimliliğinin artışında ve emisyon ve kirliliğin azaltılmasında önemli bir bileşen olduğunu bildirilmektedir. Bu çalışmada araç ağırlığının azaltılması ile ilgili literatür bazlı analizler yapılmış ve sunulmuştur. The use of innovative and advanced products in many areas is increasing day by day. These products are used to reduce the weight of vehicles. Some of the most important objectives of reducing vehicle weight are the reduction of fuel consumption and harmful emissions. Global warming is the major reason for the reduction of emissions. For this purpose, the use of materials such as aluminum, magnesium, steel and other materials such as composites and plastics is increasing. It is reported that it is an important factor in lightness, increase in fuel efficiency and decrease of pollution. In this study, the literature was analyzed and presented about the reasons for the reduction of the vehicle weight and its causes.

2018 S355J2 Çeliğinin Tozaltı Kaynak Kabiliyetine Kaynak Telinin Etkisi

Bu çalışmada, S355J2+N (DIN10025-2) kalite çeliğin S1 ve S2Mo tellerle tozaltı kaynak kabiliyetlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla kaynaklı numunelere tahribatsız muayene yöntemlerinden Ultrasonik ve Manyetik Partikül testleri uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca birleştirme işlemi sonucunda malzemelerin çekme ve eğme deneyleri yapılmıştır. Anahtar kelimeler: Yapı çeliği, Tozaltı kaynağı, Çekme deneyi, Eğme deneyi. In this study the effect of different wires of submerged arc welding to the weldability of S355J2 (DIN10025-2) quality steel were examined. S355J2 steels were welded with S1 and S2Mo submerged arc welding wires. After welding, In order to examine the mechanical properties and microstructure of the joints, destructive and non-destructive test were performed. The microstructure of welding zone was observed using tensile and bend tests.

2018 Türkiye Araç Sektöründe Yeni Stratejik Yatırım Hedeflerine Dair Gelişmeler

Ülkemiz Dünyada kendine yer bulan bir otomotiv üretim ülkesidir. Ülkemizde birçok tesiste milyonlarca araç üretilmekte ve birçok ülkeye ihracat yapılmaktadır. Bu literatür çalışmasında ülkemizde üretilen araçlar, yıllara göre üretim miktarları ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca ülkemiz olan katkıları ve eksik yönler analiz edilmiştir. En önemli eksiklik araç üretimi aşamasında iç piyasadan sunulan ürün miktarının, türünün ve kalitesinin yetersizliğidir. Eğer ülkemizin bu tesislerdeki üretimlerden daha fazla katkı / katma değer alabilmesi ve cari açığın kapanmasına daha fazla etki yapması bir stratejik planlama ile açıklanabilir. Bu çalışmada bu bağlamda görüşler ifade edilmiştir. Ayrıca Dünya motorlu taşıtlar için çevresel etkilerin sonucu yapılan çalışmalara ayak uydurulması ve iç piyasada üretilen ürün kalitesinin artırılması çalışmalarının izlenmesi ve ülkemiz adına takip edilmesi gerekliliği açık bir konudur. Bu çalışmada bu konular ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Our country is an automotive manufacturing country that finds its place in the world. In many facilities in our country, millions of vehicles are produced and exported to many countries. In this literature study, the vehicles produced in our country, production amounts according to years are discussed. In addition, the contributions and deficiencies of our country have been analyzed. The most important deficiency is the inadequacy of the quantity, type and quality of the product offered from the domestic market during the production stage. In this study, opinions are expressed in this context. In addition, the environmental impact of world motor vehicles has been interpreted. These issues are discussed in this study.

2017 Complex Permittivity, Complex Permeability and Microwave Absorption Properties of BaTiO3/PVB Composites

The influence of microwave absorbing properties of polyvinyl butiral (PVB)/BaTiO3 composites were investigated in the 1-14 GHz. PVB/filler particles (BaTiO3) composites were prepared with 85/15, 90/10 and 95/5 mixture ratios via Ultrasonic Probe Sonicator method in solution. The complex permittivity (ε’- jε’’) and permeability (μ’- jμ’’) of the composites have been measured at different microwave frequencies in 1–14 GHz employing vector network analyzer (Keysight N9926A). The reflection loss (RL) of composites was calculated and evaluated using the theory of the absorbing wall. The results show that absorption is increasing as the fillers rate increase and thickness is decreased. This can be understood based on quarter wave principle within the frequency range from 1 GHz-14 GHz for different thickness.
